The Surrounding Area and South Sinai:-
The coast of the Sinai peninsular is known as the Red Sea Riviera where all year round sunshine is guaranteed. Its position on the edge of the Sinai desert ensures the comfort of low humidity even on the hottest days.
The warm waters of the Red Sea are famous for their diverse marine life and coral. There are several National Parks and reserves such as Ras Mohammed to protect this unique coastline. Snorkelling and diving are available from most beaches, as are other water sports.
From Sharm el Sheikh you can visit Mount Sinai and St.Catherine’s Monastery, the oldest working monastery in the world and famous for the Biblical Burning Bush. Visit the still “hippy” resort of Dahab, the Coloured Canyon, Nuweiba or take a trip to Cairo (by air or coach), Luxor, or the rose city of Petra in Jordan.
